Leading Infrastructure Improvements with Wolf Creek Sewer Repair Project

Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards played a pivotal role in addressing critical infrastructure needs in South Fulton with the commencement of the Wolf Creek Sewer Repair Project. This essential initiative, undertaken by the Fulton County Public Works Department/Water Services Division, involved inspecting and repairing over 15 miles of sewer lines and more than 355 manholes to prevent stormwater and groundwater infiltration. The project, which included innovative smoke testing techniques, was estimated to cost $2.9 million and was scheduled for completion in 2006.
