Easing Traffic with the Oakley Industrial Road Project

Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards hosted the groundbreaking ceremony for the Oakley Industrial Road Project, a significant infrastructure initiative aimed at alleviating traffic congestion in South Fulton’s industrial corridor. The $5.7 million project, which included constructing a 280-foot, two-lane bridge over the CSX railroad tracks, was a collaborative effort involving the Atlanta Regional Commission, Georgia Department of Transportation, and South Fulton Community Improvement District.
